Loss of Rent & Alternative Accommodation
We will pay the amount of rent you would have received if your home was let or the reasonable cost of renting similar accommodation for the period you cannot live in the home. (see policy wording).
Accidental Damage to pipes and cables
We will cover accidental damage to underground water, drain, sewage, oil and gas pipes and underground electricity, television and phone cables extending from the buildings to the public mains or septic tanks you are legally responsible for.
Accidental Damage to fixed glass and sanitary fittings
We will cover accidental breakage of all fixed glass and fixed sanitary fittings which form part of the building.
Trace and access cover up to £500
We will pay to remove or replace any part of the buildings necessary to repair any fixed domestic water or heating installation where water or oil has escaped.
